My heart is creative at it’s core and I wanted to photograph this editorial from a unique perspective. I played with black and white images, movement, and lots of styling.

It is featured today on Once Wed and I could not be happier. See more here.

Natalie Choi Events did a wonderful job with this creative vision. She created a mood board to send to all vendors and her design was about opposites. i.e. Feminine & Edgy, Dark & Light, etc.

One of the MANY reasons I am a film photographer… is because it is a timeless medium. It brings out the nuances in the frame. It depicts light, shadows, movement in an effortless way. It is rewarding to shoot. It makes me stop, slow down, and really think about what the emotion and moment I am capturing. There is an intention with each frame.

I believe it is good to push yourself as an artist and every time I pic up my camera it reminds me to do that very thing.

Thank you to ALL the amazing vendors who were a part. I am completely honored to have been a part.

The film was all shot on the Contax 645 with Porta 400, Ilford 3200, and Kodak Tri-X.
