Santa Lucia Preserve Wedding

Tucked in a quiet part of the northern coast of California is the adorably charming, Carmel-by-the-sea. It is one of my favorite destinations and always love spending time exploring. Part of this area is known for its incredible rolling hills and vineyards. Carmel is a very special place to C & C. Being in the Bay Area, Carmel is such a perfect getaway and location to share with family & friends. They chose the exclusive, Santa Lucia Preserve, for it’s laid back elegance.

Their weekend began with their welcome dinner at Mission Ranch Carmel, she wore a floral Monique Lhuillier tea length gown and they went of the theme of garden western party with hats and a nod to their dog with welcome gifts.

Their wedding could not have been more beautiful, at the beginning of Summer the weather was perfect! The ceremony was held at the Redwood Grove and it could not have been more magical. C wore a gorgeous Oscar de la renta gown and veil. She was the epitome of elegance and grace.

Kindred Events CO. planned and designed everything impeccably. The floral design by Max Gill was ethereal and perfect for the setting.

C & C had a few moments to themselves during sunset and it was a perfect way to document their joy.

Their first look was by the main hacienda and the colors really complimented their style. Added a classic elegance to these moments.

Max Gill floral design created a masterpiece of garden dreaminess by surrounding the aisle and arch in incredible green and white florals that felt so natural. It was a stunning way to say “I do”.

How cute are these striped bar stools? I loved them and adore an outdoor cocktail hour.

Guests then moved inside the iconic barn which had been transformed to compliment the green and white florals, however felt elevated and delicate in this space. Loved how they softened the barn feel and made it modern.
