This is the perfect example of “when you know, you know.” When Taylor was 14 he met Amanda and told his mom…” I am going to marry that girl.” Fast forward 10 years and he is. The two are best of friends and truly adored by all who know them. Seaport Village holds special place in their heart, so we chose to have their engagement session about 1 1/2 hours before sunset for the beautiful sunset glow. It also gave us enough time to have an outfit change and explore all the picturesque spots Seaport Village has to offer.

They are magnetic together. Amanda wore a stunning emerald green dress from Reformation. I encourage my couples to wear what makes them happy and Amanda has the brightest green eyes, so I knew immediately this dress would be perfect.

Taylor also shared the why he fell in love with Amanda and wow! It is a must read: “There’s a saying that’s become popular amongst our friends that “Taylor is the one who draws people in, but Amanda is the one that people stick around for.” Amanda cares deeply for those that she loves. She is constantly wondering how she can make life better for her loved ones. I’m fortunate enough to call myself one of those individuals and over the course of 10 years have seen how her loyalty, love and inclusivity have grown and deepened. As someone who is constantly called on for advice (by almost all of our wedding guests, of all ages), Amanda is regularly praised for her ability to handle life with thoughtful consideration and awareness. These aspects coupled with Amanda’s unwavering support are major reasons as to why our wedding day will be filled with so many people that already know, love and appreciate each other.”

I’m always impressed at his ability to remain steadfast and calm in the quiet moments while being able to let loose with friends and family in times of celebration.
