Imagine the sound of soft ocean waves and a cool breeze feeling delightful as the setting sun warms your skin. Add in a delicious drink and great company and you are set. This could be you. I have a few tips to plan an elegant, yet laid back celebration from a recent inspiration shoot on the beach in San Diego.

Although shells and blue and lots of coral are beautiful, what if you took your favorite colors and incorporated them in an impactful way into your decor. Thinking clean lines, modern design, and unique florals.

Smith James Events planned the perfect Modern Beach Wedding Inspiration with a modern twist. Using green, white, and soft blues in a clean and impactful way. She enlisted Plenty of Petals for florals to the bring vision to life.

A palm frawn ceremony was a new take adding architectural charm for the vows. Framing the couple beautifully, yet allowing guests to see the epic scenery. It completed the experience.

The table top also brought in dried palm frawns with alternating green tones and clean lined white vases and table top design. It was truly stunning. I could have dined there all day. Especially the beach wood chairs added a refined element. Chairs are such an opportunity to express a unique vision. I love when couples use velvet or colorful chair options. This is such a chance to do something different and elevate any design you choose.
