To say this was a magical week in paradise is an under statement. This was one of the most incredible weeks. The couple is private so I am only able to share a few photos from this week of events at three different hotels on the Island. This was my first time in the Bahamas. We landed on a one lane airport on a small commuter plane. Let the adventure begin. When you get to the airport, it is a one room building with taxi’s waiting to take people to the boats that go to harbor Island. Everyone is very nice, some can be pushy, so don’t let them boss you around if you have other plans or ride arrangements. The boat taxi fills up and the water is crystal blue, the most blue I have ever seen. The entire journey I was mesmerized. It is a short trip. You will see the colorful homes in the distance and golf carts waiting on the dock. Our hotel was just a block from the dock. We stayed in Dunmore town. We checked in and rented a golf cart, which let me tell you was soooo fun to drive around. There is a local market and many restaurant that are excellent.
They hosted all their guests at three different hotels to choose from. The Dunmore, Coral Sands, and Pink Sands hotel.
Other hotels I visited were the Other side and Eleven Bahamas house. Both are excellent. They offer custom food options, local fresh ingredients. Heaven truly!
The Welcome dinner was held at the iconic Dumore hotel. With its fantastic beach and cottages nestled among the trees. The beds are like a cloud. You can see more of this property here.

Even in November it was warm and humid. It was the end of hurricane season and the first weekend the hotel were open for the season, so check and book early if want to stay on the island, it is beloved and such an incredible experience for yourself and your guests. There were some tropical rains on and off. Definitely dress in linen and light fabrics I adored all the colorful dresses and chartreuse details.

This was one of my favorite dresses of the weekend. So colorful and detailed by Zimmerman.

Loved this moment of the bride with her mom and sister looking out to see the groom arriving at the church in Dunmore town.

All guest drive golf carts and it truly is quite the experience. Beyond fun! I loved this when the bride and groom exiting the church with so much love surrounding them!

The decor for the reception was on the outside covered patio at Coral Sands Hotel. It was stunning seeing the sun set. INCREDIBLE!

We went for sunset photos on the pristine and stunning beach. We had the entire beach to ourselves. It was incredible. The couple was beaming and I adored getting to document this time for them. Such a gift! I will remember it always.

I mean look at these scenic moments. The sunset was one of the most beautiful scenes of nature I have ever witnessed.

Guests moved to the Pink Sands hotel for after party and they truly danced the night away.

A beach day was an absolute yes. Horse back rides, beach walks, and swimming with your favorite people. Truly an experience they will hold close forever.

We can’t wait to return! If you’d like to see more of my work, see my website here. I love destinations weddings. Being a part of your world is a privilege I take to heart. I do my best to arrive early, make everyone feel at ease, and help you feel transported back.
