Is it possible to adore two people more! Gosh, I loved that they stayed true to what they loved. Being at home with their doggies, reading books, and drinking coffee barefoot and in pants. Their love is so kind and I really appreciated being able to document a perfect day for them. I told them I view this as a time in their life that they wanted to experience and what they enjoyed doing on their day off from busy professions. And this is what they decided and I couldn’t be happier. My joy is in discovering, observing love in its genuine state. Whether that’s a couple who adores wine bars and walking on the beach, or a couple who loooooves to go to a farmers marker and cook dinner together, or with this cute pair drink good coffee and go for walks in their truly cute neighborhood. I always scout prior to a session and found some gems just steps from their door. Take a look below to see.

Loved this textured glass to show a unique aspect of what they love about their new home together. Oh did I mention this is their first home together, so it’s even that much more special.

Laughs and kitchen talks are always a staple in any relationship. We started here to warm up and get them used to having photos taken. I photographed on a mix of film and digital mediums.

We walked to this cool area in LA with beautifully artistic graffiti. It framed them so well and showed the diversity in their neighborhood.

Again, sooooo many locations to choose from just steps from their home. I was in heaven and scouted these cute steps and path to get there while we talked and chatting and stopped at some cute locals. Being a small part of these memories for my couples brings me so much joy.

I can’t wait for their wedding in Santa Barbara later this year.
