My husband grew up in Seattle, WA and would often go to the San Juan Islands for vacations with his family. We have continued the tradition over the years and from the first moment we docked and walked off the ferry, it was the most charming and magical place. When Kylie and Russ reached out for their wedding at Roche Harbor, I was thrilled and then when we connected I was smitten. Over our time together we have built a report through our conversations and emails. It was incredible being invited to document and observe these memories for them. These are just a few favorites from their welcome event at San Juan Vineyard on Friday Harbor island.

They had the most delicious and perfectly beautiful, plus tasty afternoon with their closest family and friends. The Paella was a highlight and the vineyard had a flight of samples for each guest. It was such a great experience.

I took some time to scout for the best locations near their venue- Hotel De Haro. They have incredible views at every turn. We headed out to the dock and went on their family boat. Incredibly personal to them and a beautiful backdrop for these heirlooms.
